Project Photos. Figure 1 The upper panel is secured on top by two plastic nuts (green arrow). Remove these. Figure 2 A plastic rivet secures the side panels and top panel to the body, one per side. 2. Your Mercedes. SLK R170 230 2002. Mar 31, 2019. #1. I’m after a wee bit of info re the above on my SLK R170. I’m in the process of doing jobs ready for mot, one being sorting out my intermittent indicator problem. I’ve tracked down the fault to the aux fuse box and light switch to the right of the steering wheel.
Power supply for items added should be drawn from a spare fuse location using the correct terminals which MB can supply for peanuts, if there are no spare locations then add another small fuse box in a convenient location. Anything else is just a bodge, and in some cases it ends up chafing and failing or worse still if incorrectly fused.
The Mercedes SLK230 radio wiring diagram supplies two power units: the power unit 14A and the power unit 16A. Power unit 14A feeds the power to the radio's main body and power unit 16A feeds the power to the speaker. The diagram also offers three possibilities for ground connection points. They are a dual ground connector, a single ground I'm assuming your 230, being 1999, has the M111.973 engine, as there is a specific diagram for the K40 for your engine. In which case relay k1 is the fuel pump relay and fuse f5 (15A) is the fuse. For your model fuse f1 to fuse f5 are all marked as 15A. The air pump fuse is marked 40A. On to your diagram (attached).
Mercedes E55 W211 (2004), BMW 640d GC (2016), BMW 645Ci (2004), Mini Cooper D (2008)) Somewhere I read in the forum someone with an A-Class . his central locking was not working either.. apparently his Central Locking pump which was located under the floor . was totally flooded with water so malfunctioned.
